USA Club 7’s Nationals in Kansas City this August!

The Kansas City Blues Rugby Club is pleased to announce that it has been selected to play host to the 2019 USA Rugby Club 7s National Championship on August 10th-11th at Swope Soccer Village, in Kansas City, Missouri.

This competition will feature 32 of the best men’s and women’s sevens teams from across the country and will highlight players with feasible Olympic aspirations for Tokyo 2020 hanging in the balance.   FloRugby will also be there with live streaming for each match.

The Blues tout a series of notable finishes on the national stage in recent years, including finishing 3rd, 9th, and 2nd in 2014-2016, respectively as well as a 9th place finish last year. This year's squad is as keen as can be to make the extra push to take the podium in front of the hometown crowd this August.

Prior to the National Championship, the Blues will host the Heartland National Qualifier at Swope Soccer Village on July 13th. We hope to have a great home field advantage at both events for mark your calendars!
