Check out the results from our blood drive! Our drive helped boost the community blood supply and ensure that hospital patients have the life saving blood they depend on and we were able to get several other rugby clubs to replicate this in their respective cities. #GiveBloodPlayRugbyChallenge.

The American Red Cross now faces a severe blood shortage due to an unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations during this coronavirus outbreak. Healthy individuals are still needed to donate now to help patients counting on lifesaving blood.

  • SAFE: Donating blood is a safe process and people should not hesitate to give or receive blood. Right now hospitals need blood badly and this is a great opportunity to help our Kansas City community during this time.
  • APPROVED: Blood donations are an approved “essential activity” by the CDC during the Stay At Home Order and will be safely facilitated by the American Red Cross
  • OUR CHALLENGE: The Kansas City Blues Rugby Club will be challenging other rugby & sports clubs from across the country to do the same in their city and take part in this #GiveBloodPlayRugbyChallenge.
